Feeling stuck or unable to make that shift in life for the better? Sometimes it's just a disconnection or misalignment within our system. This session is meant to help individuals get back on track by reconnecting and reactivating their system from a brain health perspective that is highly dependent on the physical body ability. Once the brain and body connection is established, it has the potential to address most if not all other challenges that one faces in life.
The first session of BBC is carried out privately with the client (unless client is comfortable bringing a partner) to identify root causes to their areas of concerns and challenges. Once a connection is acknowledged and the suggested activation pathway understood, a more physical support is provided in the form of a Feldenkrais ATM (Awareness Through Movement) session.
To ensure our client's ultimate goal is achieved meaningfully and maintained for the long term, subsequent sessions covers:
Our Brain and Body Foundation Building (BBFB) sessions have the potential to enhance academic learning and life skills in all children and teenagers. This will especially help those with behavioral or learning challenges to build a stronger foundation for future development and growth.
The BBFB begins with an initial consultation for the entire family - parents and all children, simply because our foundation is built not on our own but as a collective effort from everyone in the family.
The family consultation will cover:
- Identification of possible root causes to current concerns and challenges.
- Explanation to the above from a brain health point of view.
- Family dynamics and nutritional audit.
- Possible solutions to overcome challenges and next steps.
Next, is the development of an action plan for the child/teen to carry out over a certain duration at home and during BBFB sessions at the Meaningful Activation space. The individual or small group BBFB sessions would consist of fun, active, movement based activity and learning.
Ongoing collaboration will be key in achieving the desired outcomes. This would involve open and honest feedback, clear and consistent communication, and unwavering commitment from both sides.
This 2-hr PPP could be the best investment you make for your child's immediate and future wellbeing.
"I wish I knew all this" is a phrase we hear too often during our consultation sessions about parenting challenges and red flags in children's development.
Participating in the PPP could potentially reduce the chances of your child/ren falling through the gaps, provided the advise is seriously considered and acted upon.
This session is suitable for anyone interested in the wellbeing of children, especially couples planning for a child, expecting parents or first time parents with infants up to 1 year old. The session covers:
As this is a session for couples, single parents are encouraged to bring a close family member.
We also offer online and in-person training, courses and seminars for schools seeking to enhance and upgrade their knowledge to better serve typical and atypical children under their care, as well as corporates that understand and place importance on staff wellbeing both as individuals and parents, and seeking to embracing neurodivergent individuals as part of the workforce.
